About The Castle of Muskogee

The Castle is a Renaissance-themed event space that opened in 1995 and provides a creative gathering place for artists, entertainers, and business owners. This is also the home of the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. The festival centered around 1569 England is Oklahoma’s Premier re-enactment and historical fair. Everyone is invited to attend, participate, and celebrate the era of scientific advancements and enlightenment.

Additional events are held at the Castle each year. Castle Fireworks, which consists of fireworks sales from June 15 to July 5. Visitors may shop in the 30,000 sq ft showroom. Select from heavyweights and unique assortments, some of which are only available in the Castle’s Great Hall.

Weekends in October are reserved for the Halloween Festival. The lanes of the village transform into a magical realm of spirits and spooky enchantment. Jovial ghouls haunt the streets of Castleton each weekend for five weeks. Guests may enjoy nine haunted houses, shopping, and frightening entertainment throughout!

In November, the ghouls disappear, and the Castle pivots to a whimsical winter land ofholiday displays and festive sights. Drive your vehicle through the village or enjoy an old-fashioned hayride with loved ones. The inside of the Castle is open as well! Pop in and visit with Saint Nicholas.

Additional events are held in between, for example – The Time Travelers New Year’s Ball and the Boar’s Heade Feaste. 

The Castle is a family-owned and operated business created by Jeff Hiller. As a retired
