The Oklahoma Renaissance Festival begins on April 26th and continues every Saturday and Sunday through June 1st. We are also open on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26th) to honor those who have bravely served our country!
Our gates open at 10:30am, and close at 6:00pm.
However, be sure to check out our Evening Events for continued festival fun.
Yes. Gate admission requires a ticket. Please visit our online ticketing page or the festival’s ticket booth for all pricing options.
Keep in mind, purchasing online is the cheapest way to get General Admission tickets!
We have both free and paid parking options. General parking is free, and VIP (close-up) parking is $10. Parking is cash only.
We also offer designated handicap-accessible parking close to the entrance for those with valid permits.
Parking attendants will be on-site to assist and direct you to the appropriate area upon arrival.
Children 5 and under receive free admission to the festival gates. However, if they wish to attend any of the festival’s ticket-based Royal Events, a separate ticket will be required.
Child Ticket:
Ages 6–12. Children 5 and under are free and do not require a ticket.
Student Ticket:
For guests ages 13+ who are currently enrolled in middle school, high school, or college. Must be purchased in-person at the Ticket Booth. A valid student ID will be required.
Adult Ticket:
Ages 13–64. (Students can opt for a Student Ticket with valid ID.)
Senior Ticket:
Ages 55 and older. Must be purchased in-person at the Ticket Booth.
No, a festival entry ticket is not required if you’re only attending an Evening Event. However, you will not be permitted inside the festival grounds until after the end-of-day cannon, around 6:00 PM.
If you are planning to attend any Daytime Events, you will need both a general admission ticket to the festival and a separate ticket for the specific event.
No. You do not need to wait in line at the ticket booth if you purchased your tickets online. Online ticket purchases include a QR code that can be scanned at the front gate.
Unfortunately, we will not be offering a dedicated Student Day this year. However, we do offer discounted general admission for students ages 14 and older with a valid student ID, including college students. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you at the event!
Yes, the festival is wheelchair accessible. However, please note that the grounds consist of gravel and uneven terrain in some areas. We have made every effort to ensure pathways are as safe and navigable as possible for all patrons.
We do not offer wheelchair or scooter rentals onsite. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and recommend arranging for rentals in advance if needed.
Yes! Costume rentals are available just inside the front gate. Stop by to find the perfect outfit and fully immerse yourself in the Renaissance experience!
Yes! The festival is open rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, there are plenty of indoor areas where guests can gather until conditions improve. We encourage visitors to check the forecast and dress accordingly for the day’s weather.
No. Outside food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted inside the festival grounds. However, water and personal water bottles are allowed to ensure guests stay hydrated throughout the day.
There are also free drinking water fill stations within the festival grounds.
For security reasons, large backpacks are not allowed inside the festival. Small purses, day packs, and diaper bags are permitted.
Please note that all bags are subject to search by security at the gates. If you have a medical or childcare necessity that requires a larger bag, we recommend speaking with gate staff upon arrival.
Yes, weapons are permitted as part of period-appropriate attire. However, all weapons must be peace-tied at all times. Security may inspect weapons upon entry, and if any are deemed unsafe, you will be required to return them to your vehicle before entering the festival grounds.
We allow only certified service animals on our premises. Pets that are not certified service animals are not permitted.
Yes. Smoking tobacco and the use of e-cigarettes is permitted in designated areas only. Please look for signage indicating designated smoking zones or ask a member of our staff for assistance locating the nearest location.
Please ensure you dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all attendees.
No, trinket trading is not permitted at the festival. This policy is in place to protect both our vendors and guests. If you’re interested in sharing or selling your creations, we encourage you to apply to be an official vendor through our application process.
Coin of the Realm is the official currency in Castleton and is accepted year-round at the Castle of Muskogee.
However, we also accept both card (credit and debit) and cash payments at our festival. Please note that some vendors may have specific payment preferences, so we recommend having cash or Coin of the Realm on hand. ATMs are available on site for your convenience.
Yes, re-entry is allowed! Guests who wish to leave and return on the same day must receive a hand stamp at the front gate before exiting. This stamp will be required for re-entry.
We always welcome guests to embrace the spirit of the festival through costuming! However, this is a family-friendly event, so attire must be appropriate for all ages. If an outfit is deemed inappropriate or overly revealing, guests may be asked to change or leave at the discretion of festival staff. Please dress respectfully to help maintain a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all.
No, all ticket sales are final, and we do not offer refunds. However, General Admission tickets may be transferable to another date within the same festival season, depending on availability. Royal Event tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

If you purchased your tickets online: Follow the link in your ticket confirmation email to request a date change.
If you purchased your tickets at the ticket booth: Please email info@okcastle.com with the subject line “Request for Ticket Transfer.” Include the following details in your email:
Purchaser’s first and last name
Ticket confirmation number
The new date you would like to transfer your ticket to
All transfer requests are subject to availability and apply only to General Admission tickets. Royal Event ticket sales are final and cannot be transferred or refunded.

Yes. Active military members and veterans receive $4.00 off plus tax-free entry on a Single-Day Adult Ticket on Memorial Day as a token of our appreciation for their service. Valid military or veteran ID is required to receive the discount.
Student and Seniors (55+) receive $2.00 off a Single-Day Adult Ticket. Tickets are available for purchase at the ticket booth with a valid Student ID.
Please note, Tax-free status requires valid documentation and can only be claimed in person at the ticket booth. We appreciate your understanding.
Yes! We offer 10% off of Single-Day Adult and Child Tickets for parties of 20 or more. Guests can purchase discounted group tickets online by following this link to our ticketing page. Be sure to buy in advance to take advantage of the savings!
Yes! Our festival features live jousting tournaments, where armored knights clash in thrilling competitions of skill and bravery. Be sure to check the festival schedule for jousting times and grab a seat early for the best view of the action!
